"They're all pretty similar," Noah says with a faint smile, watching Peter acquaint himself with Fuzz Aldrin. All the cats at Un Chat Gris are used to being handled, but it's sweet to see one taking so easily to his friend.

He blushes a little at Peter taking his hand, and his throat tightens. He's done better with not crying so much, but the easy show of affection nearly triggers it. Fuzz nuzzling him gets a smile, though. "I don't know what to say," he admits. "I've never been in love with someone like that, and I've never..." He shrugs. He had a few girlfriends in high school, and they didn't last, but he didn't care about them.
