Warmth fills Noah's chest and he smiles, wide and a little shy, but genuinely happy. He realizes after the fact that he was expecting Freddie to say no, and while he looks somewhat bewildered about the whole thing, he did say yes. Noah hasn't been on a date in forever. Even prom had been a group outing. Lately, being surrounded by friends who are all in love with each other, even if not all of them have actually worked out how to be together yet, has made him want someone, too.

"This weekend?" he answers, having not thought beyond the actual asking. "I can figure something out and call you."
