Noah's already frowning, he knows Chainsaw has a special sound she makes for him, but when Ronan jerks away from him his expression goes stricken. "Sorry," he blurts out, taken aback. He thought Ronan might be upset, or conflicted or whatever, but he didn't think Ronan was mad at him.

"I won't touch you," he adds quietly. He doesn't want to make it worse, but he isn't sure how he's supposed to act now. Maybe Ronan doesn't want to see him at all anymore. "Are you mad at me?"
