"Well, that's stupid," Freddie says as Nora takes another swipe at him. Grimacing a bit, he pulls her away and then leans down enough to drop her onto the floor. She makes an immediate lunge for the bottle cap once again and Freddie steps around her toward the fridge, pulling out another beer for Noah as he takes another swig of his own.

"So what if you're a ghost, you're still a person. Here, at least." He pops off the lid on Noah's and then wanders back toward the living room, crashing onto the sofa and bringing his legs up to sit cross-legged on the cushions, nodding for Noah to follow. "People want relationships. It's the human condition or whatever."
