Instead, he spans his hands wide against Noah's back, sliding them upward just a bit and then down again as he tips his head to meet Noah's eyes.

"You invited me," he points out, ignoring the tug in his stomach reminding him that Noah had clearly been angry enough to not want to go with Freddie after all. That he'd asked someone else. Someone who may or may not be interested in someone else though Noah's interest in her is quite obvious. He shrugs, pushing that thought aside. "Didn't have anything better to do."
