For a moment Noah thinks Freddie is going to kiss him, and he waits, holding his breath, forgetting to answer whatever it is Freddie said. But the moment passes and nothing happens and Noah pushes down on a feeling of disappointment. He's being stupid, or at least that's what he tells himself.

"Yeah," he says, and tries to smirk, but it comes out more like a slightly goofy smile. And then he teases, because teasing is easy. "You still interested?" He bites his lip, smiling fully now like he's on the edge of laughter.

"This dress zips in the back."
