Charles is considered one of (if not the) strongest telepath in the world, in his canon. He has extremely strong mental shields and will be able to feel Noah's mind touching his, though he'd probably allow Noah to see the thoughts in the "front" of his mind, without any resistance.

He obviously wouldn't mind having entire conversations with Noah, without either of them ever opening their mouths.
