In the end, Castiel will wonder how he hadn't noticed the smell or the noise (he will blame Dean) or how he could have let himself grow so impassioned about the lies of Kashi-Go-Lean (also blame Dean) that it's not until Dean's prayer that Castiel felt something was off.
He'd been fetching a fresh baked pie as a peace offering for the sheer amount of kale he'd been forcing down Dean's throat when he'd flown out to the porch, eyes widening at the sight.
The sight of his stoned, half-naked husband rubbing himself all over Derek's body while the ghost that had caused such a recent fight between them seems to be trying to join in the orgy.
"You lied about the Kashi," he finally bites out, air crackling with energy as his eyes grow more and more narrow. "You lied and and did drugs and rubbed yourself on people as I was making you pie."
With that he turns the pie over, letting it fall to the dirty porch as he makes his final proclamation. "And I am getting a goat next week."
