Gansey hadn't said much about when Ronan arched an eyebrow at him, just a shrug and an explanation that Noah was moving back in indefinitely. He'd always has a room of his own, usually left empty with Noah spending most of his nights at Krem's place.
Until now, apparently.
Noah's room, like his own, doesn't have walls that reach the ceiling, the faint light of Noah's lamp a dull glow above the ledge. Ronan grabs two beers from the fridge, opening both and doesn't bother knocking before stepping into Noah's room, kicking the door shut behind him.
"Hey," he says, dropping down onto the bed, noting the necklace on Noah's bedside table, the talisman carrying the spell keeping Noah tied to his body.
Ronan isn't a talker, hasn't ever been. So he doesn't ask what's wrong, has a feeling he already knows anyway. Just says, "Drink," as he hands over one of the bottles.
