Noah doesn't argue even as he frowns at Ronan, his pale eyes dark and defensive. Blue puts voice to the words and Ronan feels something go cold under his skin. There are two instances he can think of immediately and one of them he can rule out right away.

He's still staring at Noah when Blue speaks again, but he ignores her, his eyes trained on Noah, mind whirling. "What the fuck does that mean?" he says, not moving an inch. He's aware of Adam's return, in that way that he's always aware of Adam and it's only when Adam speaks that Ronan tears his gaze away from Noah to the sight of Blue's back.
"Jesus fucking Christ, I hate this place," he snaps then, rubbing the heel of his one good hand against his eye.
