Noah looks over at Ronan, wondering how it is that he gleaned so much from virtually nothing. Intuition from being close? Or maybe that's just how it is when you've lived with someone for so long. Ronan being so attuned to Noah's moods makes him want to be honest, but some part of him still feels raw and humiliated, and he isn't sure he wants to bring up his own failings so early in the morning.

"I went on a date last night," he starts to say anyway, feeling like he owes Ronan that much, at least. "It didn't work out."
