Noah pulls away roughly and Freddie drops his hand away to cup his pint glass, frown deepening as Noah sulks at him.
"Didn't want to say no," Freddie replies, watching Noah carefully. He's uncomfortable already, clearly not pissed enough for this conversation and he tries to put up his wall again, lips pursing. "It's not like I've never gone on a date before."
And he actually likes Noah, though he doesn't say as much. For one, it's not likely Noah will believe him. And it doesn't make any difference anyway, not now.
His eyes narrow then, stomach twisting uncomfortably. "Did you seek me out just to tell me that?"
