"Thanks." Noah sets his empty bottle on the counter and crosses into the living room to join Freddie on the couch. He sits back, leaning fully into the plush cushions, and just holds the bottle for the moment. "You can't interrupt a cat who's on the hunt. They go into hunter mode and they don't want to cuddle."
He looks over at Freddie, returning to his statement. "And I know. I keep trying to get over it, like everything else," he says with a brief smile. "I'm trying to look on the bright side."
