Noah smiles up at Freddie, trying to ignore the nervousness in his chest that feels a lot like butterflies. It's ridiculous to feel that way around Freddie of all people, so he walks past him and inside, staying turned toward him. "Didn't wanna catch you on the toilet," he lies. There isn't a reason for knocking instead of just showing up, at least not one he can find an explanation for.
He pulls his flats off one at a time, watching Freddie and taking in his pajama pants and tank top. He looked good in the suit, but he looks even better like this, all relaxed, bare feet and arms.
"Now I feel overdressed," he teases, leaning on the arm of the couch. "And here I was hoping you'd save a dance for me."
