With the confirmation, Freddie grabs the flat skillet next and sets it on the opposite burner before heading back to the fridge. He glances over only briefly at Noah when he speaks again, then waits a second. Noah looks like he as more to say, but he closes his mouth after a moment and Freddie shrugs.
Here it comes. And here comes the part where Freddie pretend he's just with going back to how it was.
"Yeah, it was good," he agrees, turning back to the stove and dropping the package of bacon onto the counter. "Nice to know how the other half experiences it, yeah? Got a bit of an advantage now."
