Things You Need To Know About Noah

iwasmore- Noah is a ghost. Sometimes he looks a bit faded and not totally solid. However, he CAN look solid (he did fool his friends into believing he was a real and living boy for a long time). I will indicate when he's solid or not in his posts - but also ooc be aware that he tends to disappear at random, so he may just blip out of your thread.
- He has a permanent "smudge" on his cheek. It looks kind of like a bruise. This was where he was smashed in the face when he was murdered. Sometimes you can see his skull showing through.
- He's cold to the touch. Your pup will probably get the chills even standing close to him, like a boy-shaped air conditioner.
- He's perpetually wearing an Aglionby school uniform. (Unless you give him something different to put on himself, like a hat or a sweater.) Think all boy's prep school.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, THOUGH:
Not everyone can see Noah. This isn't his choice, it depends more on the other person. You can decide - is your character sensitive to the supernatural, or would they be the sort who maybe believes in ghosts and would be able to see him? I'll leave it totally up to you. But psychics and supernatural characters more than likely would be able to for sure. My headcanon is more that NPC pups and Darrow natives are the ones who mainly can't, as a lot who come to Darrow have obviously encountered weird shit.
Noah can read minds. He doesn't even mean to, he just Knows, and sometimes he'll even unknowingly reply to someone's thoughts like they've said them out loud. He can also likewise know what your character is feeling, know their secrets if they're thinking them, etc.
Please let me know here if you would like to opt out of this, or if there's anything you'd like him to know that isn't indicated in your tags with him, or any other parameters you'd like to set while threading with him.

ETA UPDATE: Thanks to Dorian and Adam's magic~ Noah is now tied to an object (like a horcrux) instead of the ley line / Cabeswater. This means he can be consistently corporeal and looks VERY solid and real, and he is also no longer cold to the touch. You wouldn't know he was a ghost unless he told you. He can still disappear at will and read thoughts. Any other questions, feel free to ask!
